1. SheepBlood sampling performed on
• Vena jugularisThese blood vessels are located at the ventrolateral
neck.Blood sampling procedure is as follows:
• Hair around the ventral neck was shaved if necessary.
• Blood vessels dammed at 1 / 3 distal neck.
• After blood unstoppable, the area is swabbed with cotton soaked in
alcohol. The goal is to disinfection.
• sterile hypodermic needle inserted at an angle of 30o to the direction of
the blood vessel with a needle hole facing up.
• Once the needle entered, made the aspiration to take the required blood.
If blood is not exploited, which means the needle has not entered into the
blood vessels.
• Veins cephalica antibrachii anteriorThese blood vessels are located at
the anterior distal forefoot. It's easier to do if the sheep recline.Blood
sampling procedure is as follows:
• hair shaved around the blood vessels if necessary.
• Blood vessels dammed at the elbow.
• magna saphenous veinsThese blood vessels are located in the lateral area
of the hind
legs and crossed with the direction cranioventral at about Achilles
tendon.Blood sampling procedure is as follows:
• hair shaved around the blood vessels if
necessary.
• Blood vessels in the proximal dammed
• After blood unstoppable, the area is swabbed with cotton soaked in
alcohol. The goal is to disinfection.
• sterile hypodermic needle inserted at an angle of 30o to the direction of
the blood vessel with a needle hole facing up.
• Once the needle entered, made the aspiration to take the required blood.
If blood is not exploited, which means the needle has not entered into the
blood vessels.
• Femoral VeinsThese blood vessels lie in the area proksimomedial hind
legs. Blood sampling in this area is quite difficult. It's easier to do if the
sheep recline.Blood sampling procedure is as follows:
• hair shaved around the blood vessels if necessary.
• Blood vessels in the proximal dammed.
• After blood unstoppable, the area is swabbed with cotton soaked in alcohol.

2. CatVenous blood sampling performed on the anterior
antibrachii cephalica, saphenous vein, and femoral veins. The same blood
sampling procedure as in sheep. To perform blood sampling, the cat must
dihandel both legs and head.
3. RabbitBlood sampling in rabbits conducted on auricular
vein. Needle stuck into a large vein in the ear after the area swabbed with
cotton soaked with alcohol. Veins in this area is very thin so easily happen
hematoma (bleeding).
