function of blood

At the time of our body parts injured, then the wound will bleed. Why? because the wholeour bodies are fed by the blood that is pumped from our heart. Therefore, if there is someone who is experiencingaccident and spent a lot of blood, should be helped by blood transfusion.

Blood transfusion isentry process of blood / blood gift for someone who has a lot of blood loss.Well, just to be clear, this time we will try to discuss about the functions, composition of blood and blood disorders (diseasesassociated with blood).

Composition of Blood
The blood-red liquid, slightly viscous and sticky. Blood flows throughout our body, anddirect contact with the cells in our bodies. Blood is made up of several elements, namely the blood plasma, cellred blood, white blood cells platelets dam.

- This element Blood plasma is the largest component in the blood, because blood contains more than halfblood plasma. Almost 90% of the blood plasma is water. Function to transport blood plasma extractsfood to cells and carry the combustion of the landfill cell. Another function isproduce antibodies against disease or antibodies.

Red blood cells (erythrocytes)

Red blood cells contain hemoglobin much. Hemoglobin causes red blood dark red.Red blood cells produced dilimpa or tortoise, liver and red marrow in flat bones. Red blood cells are alreadycrushed to death in the liver.

- White blood cells (leukocytes) White blood cell shape is not fixed. White blood cells are made in red marrow, spleen and lymph turtles. Functionsto eradicate germs.

- Platelet (platelets mosimage} platelets of irregular shape and has no core. Produced in red marrow, as well as the roleimportant in blood clotting process.

Functions of Blood

The function of blood in our body's metabolism, among others, as a tool carrier (dealers), regulator of body temperature andthe body's defenses. Circulation of oxygen to the body:

- Oxygen is circulated throughout the body by red blood cells.

- Blood is pumped from the heart right ventricle to the lungs remove CO2 and O2 carried to takeleft the porch.

- O2 left of the foyer is channeled into the left ventricle

- From the left ventricle O2 carried throughout the body by red blood cells for the combustion (oxidation)

- Blood circulation of the blood circulation from the heart and brings nutrients to oksigemwhole body and carry carbon dioxide back to the heart.

- Blood circulation, the small-circulation of blood from the heart carrying carbon dioxide to the lungs to be releasedand take the oxygen carried to the heart.

So in conclusion, the function of blood is:- Distribute the food to the whole body

- Circulate oxygen from the lungs throughout the body
- Transporting carbon dioxide to the lungs
- Circulating hormone Diseases / Disorders of Blood
- Anemia, the disease due to lack of red blood cells.
- Leukaemia, a disease that is caused by overproduction of white blood cells.

The disease is called cancerof blood.

Hemophilia, a disease that is difficult to cause the blood to clot. If the patient suffered minor injuries, canlead to serious bleeding.
